My current brand name is Amour which means Love in French as
my Lamoureux
family came from Quebec Province, Canada in the 1800's to this area.
I have been in the jewelry business over 5
years, my parents have been in business almost 40 years, my grandfather was
a worker for the silver company reed & Barton in
Taunton since 1924, he married into the
Lamoureux family who had been with silver working
before 1924, possibly bringing the craft along with my other
quebecian family Goyettes,
Lemieuxs and others from Quebec.
I currently program my business website with main address currently at
http://a.mour.us with the tradename Amour
concept of AMOVRVS and need much assistance improving the website and
functionality of how I do business as a whole. My website at
http://a.mour.us does not accurately depict
the breadth and debth of the product levels that I currently represent. This
purple jewelry is one of dozens of products manufactured at factories in
partnership with my family for years and often decades into centuries.
The products I represent of various factories are:
- scrimshaw
- jewelry
- baskets
- trading cards
- original music cd's
- children's books
- silverware and pewterware
- clothing and costume
- fine art
- other products
I am also trying to enter into the scrap metal business
to relate metals prices to beads prices as I also coordinate the manufacture
of various beads from shells, the original trading system in this lands of
the people of this continent and the continents across the oceans is with
products from the oceans, products from domesticated farmlands, products
from wild nature, etcetera., this is the business
I am in and need help with at a more academia level to increase business for
present and future means. I also need a lot of help editing the written
legends of the business which span back as far as I can trace the
family genealogy.
I currently have my corporation Life Union Corporation
registered with the state of
Connecticut at
Hartford with
trade name
Amour registered with the Connecticut department of revenue. Life Union
Corporation is also registered as a business with the town clerk of
Raynham as doing business at 770
Broadway route 138 in
Raynham which is the mail room at the
Raynham
depot across from the milk bottle on route 138
Broadway
in
Raynham. I am trying to open up a physical
location somewhere near to this location or somewhere else in
Raynham and/or
Bridgewater
but is very difficult to do this with my current limited knowledge of
business. I met with professor Mercer Fellouris at
Harrington hall on grove street
Bridgewater
as of recommended by Karen
DeShiro
student services representative for the school of graduate studies at
Maxwell library, she is a professor of
management at the school of business at
Bridgewater
state college, she was very helpful in recommending that I may be interested
to study organizational behavior, this is a future possibility for spring
2008, right now I am in great need to organize Amour and Life Union
Corporation as I currently have 20 or more retailers and distributors who
buy at the wholesale level from me at a few hundred to a few thousand
dollars of jewelry and beads at a time, currently heavily concentrated in
jewelry and beads made from
Mercenaria
Mercenaria commonly known as the hard shelled
clam or quahog/
quahaug, a purple/white jewelry
product. I need to also expand in to various other products my family
manufactures.
